New weapons:

  • Red Scythe (tier 13)
    • Has supermassive recoil
  • Rogue Van Cannon
    • Suggested by Worm Chase who won the little discord competition to who could beat the new boss first on normal mode. (shoutout to sunrize0736 who found and beat it first but unfortunately it was in the weekly casual mode)
    • Drops whenever you take New Captain ultra, this is the first weapon that drops from taking an ultra.
    • Like the van cannon, but stops quicker spawns in friendly popo and deals slightly less damage when driving over enemies, has a slightly longer reload time and costs a little more ammo.

Chicken:

  • Halved cost of slowmotion
  • Increased effectiveness of slowmotion on projectiles
  • Increased effectiveness on slowing enemy behaviour
  • Increased effectiveness of slowing enemy movement
  • Increased chicken movement slowdown slightly while in slowmotion (when not using thronebutt)
  • Increased swing rate of chicken sword and black sword
  • Increased 'health chance increaser for each missed healthdrop' pre-loop

Weapon popup system

  • Some weapons have crucial information that is required for them to be used correctly, such as director weapons. These will now have a popup when you pick them up with a useful tip. 
  • Can also be used for some lore and/or flavour.

Nerves of steel

  • Reduced 45% base reload speed to 40%
  • Now adds a 10% constant reload speed.
    • This makes it more effective on fast firing weapons, and slightly less on super high reload time weapons though its still amazing on those.

Volcano

  • These changes aim to make this area a little less frustrating some of the healthpools were just above breakpoints making it quite anoying to go through.
  • Adjusted spawn rates so that there are more lavaball enemies compared to fire worms and salamanders
    • Lava Ball enemy
      • Now have very little health but when they die explode in much more flames (walking fire bombs)
      • When they die spawn flame cannons at 90 degree angles
      • Inverted ones spawn frost flames at these angles and explode into even more flames that goes even further
      • Significantly lowered droprate, and can no longer drop weapons
      • Slightly lowered raddrops
  • Fire worms:
    • Lowered health by 2 so bolts can one shot them.
    • can now drop weapons
  • Adjusted enemy mini flame cannon sprites so they stand out much more.
  • Significantly changed dragon fight

Infinite Levels Slow leveling

  • Is no longer valid for unlocks when above level 19 (two ultras).
  • Level cap remains infinite

Weekly

  • Changed seeding on choice of weekly should result in a bigger difference of weeklies and not gun game again.

Balance & Small changes

  • Throne chases after you a little more
  • Termites are now considered 'bullets' making them work with recycle gland and that one steroids ultra
  • Very slightly buffed reload speed of dense gun
  • Lowered aggressiveness and range of square bandits pre-loop (compared to normal bandits in retail they are quite a big difficulty spike early on as they can obviously fire through walls but they are also much more accurate. They are intended to appear early on so that you get introduced to squares tough so they will remain there. For higher level players these guys are not that big of a deal and this change won't matter but for new players this should help a bit)
  • Removed quick damage taking droprate reduction pre-loop (not in hard mode)
  • Reduced sharpteeth delay by 5 frames
  • Sharp teeth now pushes enemies away from you,
  • Sharp teeth now uses distance check instead of screen check.
  • Eye's telekinesis now has a range instead of pushing and pulling everything on screen.
  • Doctor's revive and meltings powers now also use range instead of screen
  • Normal snipers will now stop their aim adjustment when you break Line of sight (this doesnt affect much but it means that they wont be able to see through walls)
  • Reduced iframes on strong spirit last wish and protective mustache
  • Disabled some ultra mutations in one hit wonder: protective facial hair,  lag, harder to kill / phoenix, defense, armour smith/quick swapper, hardened bone, unstoppable/ultimate gamble, apex predator, Fortress, Armour Up/Living armour
  • Nercomancers will stop walking when resurrecting, because when they break line of sight it would cancel the revive.
  • Lowered projectile speed of jungle gorillaz pre-loop
  • Increased quality of weapon drops from weapon chests, and slightly from enemies
  • Microscopic increase to charge rate of alien intestines
  • Ray's are now burst weapons
  • Reduced ammo cost bouncer wave crossbow by 1
  • Increased reload speed rocket clap, micro plasma gun and grenade strike launcher
  • Non-inverted snipers can no longer see through walls
  • Enemy discs can now bounce more (within 2 seconds of existing)
  • Increased move away when an enemy deals contact damage to you
  • Added a wee laser sight to big machine
  • Added some tips and fixed some random pools of tips being more common than intended
  • Slightly reduced chance of mimics
  • Reduced chance for additional traps to spawn
  • Lab freaks & rhino freaks now don't run initially and even longer when sleepy (hypersomnia)
  • Quick restarting before dying on a weekly now sends your score.
  • Going in and out of the leaderboard will no longer reset your gamemode
  • Going in and out of the weekly will no longer reset weekly selection, same for daily race
  • Rays will now target enemies close to you if you're overshooting with your aim
  • Significantly increased hitbox size of square bats, (this makes them easier to hit while they're in walls. However it also makes them more likely to deal contact damage to you)
  • Significantly improved weapon drop, overtime this was lowering because of the giant pool (which will now no longer happen). It now no longer counts down the tries for a specific tier if it rolled something above your max tier.
  • Increased reload speed of golden machinegun by 0.5 and increased accuracy
  • Lab Freaks now gain some additional health when fusing

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed a bug where chicken's slowmotion would trigger fps optimization systems
  • Whenever you equip an alt/secret ultra in any multi-ultra gamemode it will make sure your other alternative ultras are also revealed. You will not be able to use the standard version anymore. say you took living armour as viking. you'll only have to option of captain of the kraken for the other one.
  • Similarly if you've equipped a normal version of an alternative ultra it will disable the other alternative ultra.
  • Disabled alt ultras in random characters gamemode, because alt ultras often dont work on other characters.
  • Fixed a bug where chicken's black sword could not drop if you had revived usinga  life
  • Fixed box gun being off center
  • Fixed a bug where saplings did not blow up on some enemies that were able to fly over walls and some other enemies
  • Fixed a bug where crown of hatred took health when you had armour
  • An attempt at better randomizing random character option
  • FIxed a bug where splinter seeker crossbow was not firing bursty splinters
  • Fixed a bug where enemy discs bounced less in 60fps
  • Fixed a bug where sometimes big machine would not be hittable and it would softlock you
  • Fixed a bug where hoarding thief ultra on business hog would instantly swap the weapon back when you tried to take it out
  • Fixed a bug where business hog shop did not correctly highlight on hover state
  • Fixed a bug where laser crystals were using ultra laser crystal teller line
  • Fixed a bug where crown cycle in the leaderboard would cycle over an empty crown displaying no sprite
  • Fixed a bug where weapons were not drawn in the leaderboard
  • Fixed a bug where you could quick restart the daily gamemode
  • Fixed a bug where you got a second ultra at level 19 instead of level 20
  • Fixed a bug where some routes would not get printed upon dying.
  • Fixed a bug where chicken slowmotion caused pellets to travel shorter distance before disappearing
