This update brings back the weeklies and dailies!
Unfortunately due to shifting the weekly and daily to a different host before my vacation you won't get an in-game notification for this update so please tell your friends!
Crown of Destiny
- Starting with Crown of destiny now allows you to have the whole selection of mutations available for your first two choices.
- This essentially makes it so you no longer have to quick restart to get what you want.
Crown of Luck
- Made it less likely to hit high healthpools
Hyper Crystal
- Is piss easy, now on loop 2+ it gets a new diamond shape bullet hell attack.
- Newly spawned crystals will now act much quicker upon spawning but are affected by hypersomnia
- Inverted hyper crystal now has increased range on moving the lightning crystals and spinning them around itself.
- Range of spin attack scales each loop up to loop 5
- Increased health +100
Technomancer
- Increased health +80
- Newly spawned turrets can now activate much quicker but are now affected by hypersomnia
- Acts quicker and even quicker on higher loops
- Now has a chance to resurrect anything out of line of sight. 1 in 3 upon resurrecting, This now allows technomancer to completely swarm you if you play too passively
Boss bot
- Increased health of all versions +100
- Now drops 2 golden weapon chests instead of 1
- Now drops an additional golden weapon chest when using open mind.
- The golden version of the boss bot drops another golden weapon chest
Ball Mom
- Now spawns more frogs especially when you are not in line of sight
- Spawns even more frogs on higher loops
- Heals more from gas on higher loops
- Eggs pop quicker on higher loops
- Projectile velocity on explosion scales faster and produces more rows of bullets
Pit Ghost Boss
- Now gets more aggressive on loop
Mimic Boss
- Now gets more aggressive on loop
Cheshire cat
- Increased health by 10
- Now starts some of its loop scaling earlier
- Increased cap maximum amount of bullet spam on high loops
Big Assassin
- When big assassin wakes from a fake death it now revives ar 80% hp, rather than (bugged) 110%.
Big Vulture
- Now gets more aggressive on loops
- Now gets a bullet line attack when charging
- Shoots more and faster when on higher loops
- Now eats corpses faster and at further range on loops
- Gets an additional healthboost on loop
- Projectile speed scales quicker and more on loop
Big Fish
- Now gets more aggressive on loops
- Now moves faster on loops
- Now has a bigger suck range on loops
- Now charges faster and further on loops
- Charge tell time decreases on loops
Big Machine
- Slightly reduced amount of lasers being fired in a row on higher loops
- This scaling was a little bit much
Graveyard Fish
- Now gets even more aggressive on loops
- Now charges even faster on loops
- Gravestone wave now spawns triangle bullet
- Now spawns triangles when teleporting
Factory
- Will now have higher tier (+2) and better quality weapon drops.
- Essentially you get a robot passive while in this area (does stack with robot's actual passive and refined taste)
- Also allows you to get past the pre-loop tier cap by 2
The pit
- Significantly reduced area size
- Reduced damage of small red bullets by 1
- Now allows you to access the crown vault on loop
Ultra Scrapyard
- Reduced amount of enemies in this area, should make a little more manageable
Ultra Crossbows
- Now no longer pierce all the time and now cuts of at its damage value (default thats 45), in vanilla this pierce cutoff is 20 damage.
- When not killing a target and thus not piercing that target it will deal an additonal 8 damage.
Power Craving
- Added 2% inversion portal chance (this results in 20% with no other buffs)
Challenge for the Ultra Mods now gives you portal essence
- First time 5
- Second time 10
- Third time 15
Grumpy Lecture
- Increased cost from 1.5% to 5%
Zombies
- Added specific zombies for new areas
- Ghosts spawned from the spawning ghosts no longer resurrect into other zombies
Alkaline Saliva
- Can now overheal 1!
- This overhealing is applied after your default overhealing.
- So if you have second stomach and get 1 overhealing you can get another overhealing through alkaline saliva.
- But it does not increase your default possible overheal.
- So if you've overhealed through alkaline you cannot get any more overhealing beyond that through any other means of healing.
Second stomach
- No longer makes HP pickups last longer
Balance & Smaller changes
- Increased damage of ultra flare gun
- Reduced square bullet spam on inverted big dog when at loop 4+ this is because they usually spawn as a duo at this point so it did not need the double scaling.
- Increased damage of lightning flames by 1
- Enemy percentage based health scaling is now infinite
- Lowered enemy health scaling from +10% each loop to +7% each loop (this is still higher than vanilla which is 5%, ultra also has an absolute scaling of +2 health for each enemy each loop)
- Lowered absolute health scaling on enemies from 2 each loops to 2 in the first loop and then 1 each loop
- Increased boss health scaling from 20% each loop to 31% each loop (this is lowered than vanilla which is 33%)
- Ultra flak cannon no longer explodes randomly
- Increased projectile velocity of ultra flak cannon
- Adjusted animation of ultra flak cannon and reduced rad cost
- Very slightly reduced reload speed boost from weapon mod (previously 6.5% now 5.5% power craving: 10.5% now 10%. Weapon modder ultra buff is unchanged (still +6%)
- Slightly reduced laser pierce when bullet => laser fish's partner bullets and rebel ally bullets
- Adjusted scaling of projectile speed on exploding vans so it scales smoother and faster, also increased maximum speed scale.
- IDPD vans now also spawn bullets right behind themselves when they fire bullets when driving in on higher loops, these projectiles now also go faster on higher loops
- Slightly reduced damage of plasma quake and increased ammo cost from 2 to 3
- Enemy frost lines (those things that Inverted golden snipers shoot) Will now blow up cover
- Made elite segway idpd more aggressive and shortened the tell time on a lot of its attacks, But the lasers now move at a slightly slower rate similar to ghost lasers
- Reduced ammo cost of core splitter from 4 to 3.5
- Graveyard breeders now have their range extended on loops so they have more of a chance to swarm you on higher loops
- Increased the range of the lightning jackhammer
- Increased damage of the crendooken spike ball but it decreases in damage upon each hit
- Slapper no longer destroys walls, this might be better? as the knockback against walls would deal some more damage.
- Inversion shards (scrimblos) can now spawn when visiting inverted areas multiple times in a row. Previously you would have to leave an inverted area and then it would spawn. Now it just checks if it spawned one before if so then it wont spawn. But if not then it can spawn again.
- Inversion shards in the inverted gauntlet now get removed when navigating to another area but it can spawn multiple during the entire gauntlet, basically every other area.
- Added a slightly different sprite for venomized idpd bullets that come from freak vans
- Increased jawbreaker and jaw splitter reload speed by 1 frame (also golden version)
- Increased reload speed of six shooter
Bugfixes
- Fixed a bug where Blasphemia stuck around when switching areas in the inversion gauntlet
- Should have fixed a bug where the venus car was inconsistent in the inversion gauntlet
- Fixed a bug where long lasting lasers sometimes did not hit the player
- Fixed a bug where big assassins fake death clones would have additional health scaled upwards when 'reviving' from a fake death. (this increased the health by 10% each time)
- Fixed a bug where lil hunter could play its boss ending song when killing it before all lill hunter were dead but the other ones were flying
- Fixed a long lasting bug where crown of inversion would stop working when taking another crown
- Fixed a bug where lilhunter ended the music in the pit
- Fixed a bug where you could not swing melee anymore when ammo was below 0 and using crown of a thousand cuts
- Fixed a bug where sometimes weapons could drop out of bounds possibly due to ghosting enemies that play outside of your play area and then get slapped by flexible elbows or drop something
- Fixed a bug where crystal's intro lore on void seer was fish's
- Fixed a bug where it was possible to crash during saving when you first booted up the game and loaded in a retail save file.
- Fixed a potential crash on wall crawler
- Fixed a bug where lightning and explosions from some melee weapons did not trigger weapon mods
- Fixed a bug where the same thing happend on blood grenades the blood explosions did not trigger weapon mods
- Fixed a bug where fuck it can reroll -2 tier weapons (these should never be rerollable)
- Potentially fixed a bug where taking the car in YVs crib would sometimes navigate you to the mansion
- Fixed a crash related to lightning laser pistol
- Fixed a long lasting bug where quick restarting on death screen would give you fish or crystal always.
- Fixed a bug where quick restarting on death screen displayed previously chosen mutant's ultras thronebutt and regal vision in the green crown menu.
- Added a deflect sprite for the tennis bal
- Fixed a bug where taking a crown when using cursed technology and crown of curses would heal you
- Fixed a bug where the mid loop void shop could end your challenges early
- Fixed a potential crash that could occur when there are like fifty million corpses and you're on an absolute beast of a pc? probably not sure actually.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when you died or when you killed big fish's target while it was sucking
- Fixed a bug where inverted big assassin would play their boss song upon reviving in the inversion gauntlet, you're suppose to vibe to Splattie's song.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when some weapons were thrown, either through gun gun or something else.
- Fixed a bug where selecting none crown in multi crown mode would skip the menu system and leave it up during gameplay
- Potentially fixed a crash that could occur when having eagle eyes and melee swinging at a disappearing enemy?
- Fixed a bug where running the one hit void challenge would remove mutations that prevented damage when leveling up.
- Enemy laser pierce is now only applied when hitting things they can damage such as props and other enemies that are not on the same team, and the player ofcourse.
Known issues
- There are a few menu issues, especially related to controller. These will be addressed in an update in the near future
