Apex Predator:
- Fixed a bug where you could still use the snare while sprinting.
- Now buffs kill mutations, (trigger fingers, lucky shot, rage and bloodlust)
- Essentially giving you the doctor version of these.
Doctor:
- Active now only takes health and no longer takes armour by default.
- Innerpeace now prevents lethal active damage (any other mutations that prevent damage also do this already)
- Armour now prevents lethal active damage instead of being taken first.
- Increased duration of regal by 0.3 seconds
- Thronebutt:
- Now prevents self inflicted lethal damage from active.
Rebel:
- Active no longer uses armour
Crystal
- Regal: no longer uses armour
Horror
- Improved pierce of big radiation ball
Viking
- Serpent armour strike now deals half damage to props
- Reduced the default damage of serpent armour strike from 4 to 3.5 (this damage scales each level up)
Hands
- Hands can no longer reel in giant targets such as the throne
- Regal:
- Now spawns block a bit behind the hand and the block will travel in the direction of the hand
- Reduced cooldown between regal uses
Nerves of steel (here we go again)
- With these armour interaction changes it makes sense to adjust nerves of steel
- No longer gives reload speed boost when missing armour
- No longer gives full reaload speed boost when at max armour
- Now gives full reload speed boost when at exactly 1 armour
- Increased armour drop chance from 3% to 5%
- Armour drop chance is now always atleast 2%
- Previously it would be impossible to drop armour when you had more than 3 armour
- This also makes it so that armour can drop when you are not missing any armour, insentivising you to use your active on viking.
- Armour drops are now always additional to any normal drop and don't replace what would have dropped otherwise. (For this reason they drop with a higher velocity than other drops)
- Before looping the armour dropchance is increased by 1 as there are fewer enemies pre-loop
Gamma Guts
- You now become very briefly immune when you kill something with gamma guts
- This replaces the text that made you immune to enemy contact damage when you would kill something as it essentially does the same thing and more.
- This means you are very unlikely to die by walking into a sniper bot. However explosions still last longer than these iframes so in most cases you will still take damage unless you move out of the range from the explosion entirely.
- Upon killing something with gamma guts casts a small very short lasting shield that destroys all projectiles.
- This allows you to walk into ballguys and loop super enemies (The ones that drop a stationary square bullet)
- Also triggers through other means of gamma guts kills such as serene dreams or angel's deflect shield.
- Increased small gamma guts damage range by 28%
- Increased ranged gamma guts damage by 50%
- Fish now properly increases gamma guts range when rolling and now also increases the damage that range does to be almost the damage of direct gamma guts hits.
- Extended roll range now lasts the entire roll meaning its duration is infinite when using fish thronebutt
- Added to description: Prevent enemy venomous contact damage (it already did this but was not in the text)
Open Mind
- Now causes Ultra chests to spawn one loop earlier
- Removed level requirement for ultra chests to spawn
- Spawns an ultra chest on every single subarea instead of just the additional second subarea
- Increased ultra chest cost reduction to 21% discount
Alkaline Saliva
- Increased immunity duration to almost a second for doctor it is an actual second
Absorbing Pores
- Will now scale with the value of your pickups.
- So you will get double rads from healthdrops if you also have second stomach
- Crown of haste also increases this
- This already worked for ammo drops (and crown of misfortune)
Melee will now halt toxic and fire
Similarly crown of a thousand cuts now lets you destroy these.
Balance & Small changes
- Updated credits I missed Hec! who made the atom portrait! <3
- Ghost boss fight can now start much sooner (not every enemy has to die)
- Reduced the size of the pit area
- Reduced health reduction in normal mode
- Doctor can now self medicate into oblivion in normal mode
- Increased health of Throne 2 + 100
- Enemies now get a static +2 health for each loop, this is more effective on very low health enemies and should make some of the earlier areas fit the difficulty curve a little better on loop.
- Elementor's active now costs 5 times instead of 3 times when using unequipped ammo
- Reudced the damage of elementors regal by 1 (7 down from 8)
- Reduced duration of elementor walls by 0.6 seconds
- Adjusted weapon pool for weapon specific chests, Rather than having the entire pool of weapons to go through but then having invalid options it now reduced the size of the pool significantly. This makes it more efficient to decide a weapon and it should also result in more varried results of a higher quality. And should make it impossible to get anything outside of the weapon pool. Which was still possible previously due to a limiter on how often it could loop through and decide a weapon.
- Elementor Burning hot, reduced how frequent fire spawns as trail on projectiles but increased the damage of the fire
- Added a regal visions taken per character stat
- Added a thronebutt taken per character stat
- Reduced chance of crown of luck by 2%
- Very slightly increased reload speed of (golden) shortgun
- Increased health of big machine
- Reduced quality of additional heavy heart weapon, not the tier but the chance for it to get a specific tier (only applied on normal and elite weapon chests
- When you are above tier 13, your weapon drops start becoming more random, and less likely to drop from a specific tier.
- Made it more likely for melee to hit all the maggots inside a big maggot or a maggot nest
- Slightly reduced charge rate boost on charge overdriver when using tail's end
- Reduced amount of explosions when throne explodes, its still big but hopefully less laggy
- Crown of mediocrity now cleanes venom at 2hp
- Increased the tickrate from of venom from every 0.67 seconds to every 0.5 seconds
- Lowered it in normal mode to 0.84 seconds
- Sligthly lowered update rate of inner peace and adrenaline fuel. This is just how often it checks if healthtotals have changed, not the rate at which anything generates. It means that your last ticks of adrenaline fuel will run a bit longer than they did before and it may start a bit later.
- Adjusted hardmode spawns in the new areas
- Increased health of lilhunter and made her more aggrressive, increased idpd spawning rate, made the snipe attack much more lethal
- Made hypersomnia less effective on lilhunter
- big machine lasers no longer drop health and only give ammo
- Significantly increased health of big dog
- Removed default weapondroprate on any enemy death when using weapon smith or heavy heart, This proved to scale too much on loop and it could become quite laggy. Instead weapon smith's passive now normally increases the weapon droprate. Meaning it will no longer enable enemies that drop no weapons to drop a weapon but will increase the chance for enemies that do drop a weapon to drop a weapon.
- On loop 6+ big throne and guardian bullets will have a significantly lower chance to drop anything
- Lowered health of pitghost that fires bullets from 12 to 9
- Rogue's regal can no longer trigger enriched metabolism while out of combat
- Reworded crystals regal to make a distinction between how rogue and crystal's abilities cost. Crystal will take armour as its damage taken but rogue will only target health.
- Big dog gun missiles now actively target enemies and all projectiles associated with the big dog gun now use player versions of those. It now also uses explosive ammo
- Increased health of big bad bat
- Sligthly reduced contact damage of laser bomb
- Increased health of (inverted) crown glutton
- Slightly increased health of visionary
- Mimicboss in normal clouds area no longer duplicates but instead gets a little more aggressive at half health
- Added a tutorializing popup when you try to pick up a weapon while holding a cursed weapon
- Tutorializing green weapon popups are now visible when hovering over a weapon in the HUD
- Big bad bat now scales in difficulty a little quicker loop 5+ scaling occurs on loop 4+
- On loop 5+ big bad bat and all its projectiles now become... venomous.
- Added some logic that should help enemies destroy walls when they are stuck
- Adjusted idpd tank bullet pattern density and it scales a little more on later loops
- Adjusted leaderboard updating of ultras and mutations when using a life. It will only update these again when you grab a new ultra.
- Reduced frost on frost splinters
- Reduced impact damage of ultra hand cannon from 20 to 16 and reduced bullets from 18 to 16
- Disabled proto chest upon loading a saved run, you will have to progess your run in order to have access to the proto chest again
- Reduced cost of super heavy slugger by 0.5
- Freak vans now also explode in venomous bullets
- Lowered maximum firerate and spread of elite buff popos
- Reduced maximum range of elite segway popos (they could laser shotgun you across the map, which doesnt seem entirely fair tbh)
- Made elite segway popos just slightly more aggressive
- Enemy lasers can now almost imediately hit upon spawning. This leaway was too noticable
- Increased health of Nuclear Throne
- Increased reload speed of director rifle by 1 frame
- Increased smoke on allies that are about to die
- Increased reload speed of humphry's hand shotgun
- Minor droprate increase on laser crystals
- Increased tier of Icicle Handgun from 3 to 4
Bugfixes
- Fixed bug during the hands cutscene where the last enemy indicator indicated the thing you have to go to, its not really necessary there is only one way to go. people can find it right.
- Fixed a bug where atom's cskin was unlocked by killing plant as plant
- Fixed a bug where sheep's regal could cause you to be kind of out of bounds, it was more likely in 30fps
- Fixed a bug where random areas gamemode could be unlocked in survival arena
- Fixed a bug where missile rain costed energy ammo
- Fixed a potential crash that could occur
- Fixed a bug with the generation of blasphemia pedestal in inversion gauntlet
- Fixed a bug where bush box kept moving in 1vs1 mode causing it to break a ton of walls
- Fixed obsidian throwing knife crashing on steroids or yung cuz when using heavy heart
- Fixed a bug where portal essence dit not get loaded correctly
- Removed a few tips related to 'casual mode'
- Fixed a bug where only the melee weapon chest closed when spam buying tons of weapons in the void.
- Added a deflect sprite of chunky blades
- Crown of misfortune ammo chests that also acted as hp pickups now also cleanse venom
- Fixed a bug where throne in one 1hp equality did not accurately have 10 hp. This is so you have the chance to destroy the generators
- Fixed a bug where throne could spawn multiple beams
- Fixed a bug where regal visions taken stat was not loaded correctly
- 100% cheatcode no adds arbitrary crown taken stats, Instead it will act as if you choose random on each character for crown start to unlock. Though in reality whenever you choose random it will add to teh random stat and another stat onto another crown.
- Fixed a bug where power craving did not allow you to add a 4th weapon mod, unless you were weapon smith
- Fixed a bug where jumping out of cobwebs as fish did not correctly reduce friction
- Fixed a bug where the throne would keep running down at like an ally or something if the player was sitting above the throne
- Fixed a bug where the first time you hover over a reroll station it could select a mutation you did not have
- Potentially fixed a few navigational routes when going to crib and back
- Fixed a bug where a portal could spawn on top of a patience station
- Fixed a bug where area resetting could spawn you in a wall. In addition added a system that every so often checks if you're in a wall or outside the playarea and puts you back in.
- Fixed yung cuz duplicate Ai when trying to return to player while there are a lot of duplicates
- Fixed a bug where elementor's active did not use melee ammo when using crown of a thousand cuts
- Fixed a bug where an inverted portal could end up outside of the playarea when Mycelium monster did their earthquake attack
- Fixed a bug where persistent weapons could possibly come through to other runs
- Fixed a bug where the backup throne sitting sequence did not work
- Fixed a bug where void seer talked to you as if you were a different mutant
- Fixed a bug where morphing lilhunter would sometimes still trigger its flying death effect
- Fixed big machine lasers only working once
- Fixed a bug where iframes did not prevent knockback and potentially damage on enemy wazers
- Fixed tennis racket recoil being able to put you into walls
- Fixed a bug where the thronebeam and enemy wazers triggered rogues blast armour five milion times
- Fixed a bug where heavy blood hammer could kill you, its only ment to bring your health total down to 1
- Fixed some minor inconsistencies with big dog missile targeting and decoy for chicken
- Fixed some minor inconsistencies with big dog missiles and any enemy behaviour adjusting effects such as safe distance on hunter and crown of difficulty
- Fixed a bug where hogs regal caused armour to overlap in HUD
- Fixed a bug where it was possible to destroy the generators during the idpd tank fight
- Fixed a bug where the big generators could become supered (these are the enemies that drop a square bullet upon death)
- Fixed a bug where hypersomnia'd big vulture did not play its intro and switch the music
- Fixed a bug where horrors alt ultra hint was off screen
- Did some optimizations here and there.
- Fixed a bug where ranged gamma guts could deal damage to friendly idpd
- Fixed a bug where destroying one venomizer did not destroy its other half
- Fixed a bug where visionary, pit ghost boss and mimic boss did not have any boss healthboosts applied
- Fixed a bug where fish's partner gamemode was not individually remove-able but instead only replaced itself
- Fixed a bug where quitting connecting to a daily/weekly did not properly reset your gamemodes
30.02.00 Hotfix:
- Fixed a crash that occured when opening lightning weapon chests
- and probably morph and toxic chests to
- Fixed overlap between weapon firing type and green popup in hud hoverstate
