  • No, your save is safe.
• Where is my save file located?
  • Its in User\AppData\Local\NuclearThroneUltraMod You can get there by typing %appdata% in the file explorer then navigating back and into local folder.
    
• What is the cheatcode to 100% the game
  • Its the konami code: up up down down left right left right. Keep in mind this will overwrite your save.
• What is the cheatcode to unlock all retail characters?
  • Its: up right down left up right down left up right down left
• Where do I enter cheatcodes?
  • Enter them on the character select screen.
• Cheatcode for disabling secret unlocks
  • There are some super secret unlocks (burger), you can disable theses with cheatcode: up up up up down down down down
• What is different about director weapons?
  • Director weapons can be redirected by pressing fire again after firing.
• I once got offered this ultra mutation which is different from ones I usually get, how do I get it again?
  • There are secret ultras with specific conditions required on reaching level ultra. You can view all ultras you've discovered in the character select screen. Press the green crown in the loadout.
• What is considered a burst weapon?
  • Generally anything that fires for a while after you are firing, such as assault rifle. But also flame thrower and morph guns. Then there are a few things that fire an initial projectile but when that projectile explodes it fires a burst of other projectiles., such as the bouncer cannon. Any one of these will be indicated with a tail on your character if you use the tail's end mutation.
• What counts to 100%
  • Gamemodes, Character Unlocks, B & C skins. (no secret skins, secret ultras or golden weapons)
• How do I fix Y.V.s car?
  • You may be aware that there are more things to fix the car other than the screwdriver. These include: Wrench, any screwdriver and Needles.
• Why does my game start weird in full screen?
  • If your game starts with the screen offset and a small square while most of the screen is black toggle fullscreen on/off or alt tab out and in. It is an engine bug that I am not able to fix but should be easily resolved using these methods
• Hotkey for fullscreen?
  • F5
• Hotkey to revert custom crosshair?
  • F6
• Hotkey for resolution scale revert?
  • F7
• How do I reduce flashing lights?
  • There is no full option for this yet, but there is a workaround. If you set screenshake and freeze frames both to 0% it will get rid of many of the flashing lights effects. Still be aware that some flashing lights may still remain and if you're hypersensitive to that stuff be very careful.
• My version does not start
  • First try making suring you have the latest version of Nuclear Throne, and you've dragged the files in the right folder. Then try removing the steam files from the install. especially if your version of Nuclear Throne is not from steam it will check for a Nuclear Throne license to play. Unfortunatly this does mean you cannot participate in the daily/weekly
• Where do I report a bug?

• Is ultra mod compatible with NTT?
  • No its based on update 19.
• Can you add co-op?
  • No. though I love co-op, this is a huge feature to add so late in development and since I mostly do everything by myself its very much a question of more content for main game or work a year on this one feature.
• Can you add online multiplayer
  • Same as other major features its just quite a big ask and I'm only one person
• Is the mod compatible on 32 bit?
  • No, the engine no longer supports it and it is near impossible to build it for 32 bit.
• Can you add 60fps?
  • No, its already in the game!
• Will you add HQ and captain?
  • Eventually
• Is mole real?
  • No.
• Will you add a new character?
  • Most likely not, there are plenty of characters as it stands
• Is ultra mod available in different languages?
  • It is not and adding translations is a do-able feature with community support however since I'm the only one really working on this mod it is worth asking wether or not the development time should be spent on this. If there is enough ask then I will do it. But would you rarther have translations or say a new boss?
• Why are a lot of things slightly different from retail?
  • The mod is based on update 19 which means that a whole lot of the game is actually a recreation of retail. Along with that a lot of things were tweaked for various reasons.
